William "Bill" Whorton was a man of God, a man of quality and fine character, a loving husband and father, the founder of The Whorton Agency, Inc., a true entrepreneur and a quiet philanthropist.

He was an adult learner and a proud graduate of West Georgia College. The Bill Whorton Endowed Scholarship was created in his honor to help further the futures of like-minded adult learners for years to come.
